As Baba said “Bhagwat Geeta” is not only to be read , but is to be practiced in real life” Look for God in every being. ”Karma without attachment” is a key principle in bhagwat geeta , for which we need to work for the greater good of the society without expecting a return. By offering all the fruits of our karma to the almighty without attachment ,one can attain salvation. We are guided by our guruji Thakur Janakinath Brahmachari towards our quest for the desired destination. Purity inside as well as outside and empathy for the needy is a basic principle adopted by the Ashram.

Philosophy

An exclusive approach to attain the desired destination is “Loksangraha” or uniting people for upholding “Dharma”, as referred to by Shri Krishna in Bhagwat Geeta. The objective can only be achieved by practicing the virtues oneself because people tend to follow the great persons who have demonstrated their ability to follow their own principles. As Baba Loknath said “ At night , before sleep, try to memorize how many good works were performed by you and how many works were not good. Try to eliminate bad works and be determined to improve the number of good deeds.” Manav Dharma is reflected in all his discourses.

Daily & Annual Activities

These activities serve as a bridge between the ancient wisdom of our scriptures and the practical applications in modern life, making spirituality accessible and relevant to all.

❖ “Puja” three times a day when we offer our prayer to Baba Loknath and our Guruji to guide us in our journey towards our destination.Prayer after puja in every occasion is to reckon the objective and offer our heartfelt reverence.

❖ The value driver in each person decides the actions of a person. The realizations of our ancient great “Muni/Rishis” are reflected in their discourses which requires regular discussion. A close study of the discourses of Baba Loknath guides us in understanding and realization of the principles, which we organize in frequent intervals.

❖ It is imperative that the interaction on the discourses are blended with the participation of devotees in our offering to Gods. Ashram arranges for Tirodhan divas of Baba Loknath, (reconciliation with the supreme soul), Durga puja festival,the birthday of Shri Krishna, Makar Sankranti/ Birthday of our guruji, Shivaratri, etc in which the devotees offer their prayers. Ashram also arranges for “noro-narayan seva”on special occasions in which thousands of devotees attend and take prasad.

❖ Ashram published books containing the life history of Baba Loknath and his directions written by eminent authors i.e (Late)Shri Shaktipada Rajguru,(Late) Shri Subodh Chowdhry, Shri Pabitra Bhattacharya etc. The objective is to reckon the directions given by Baba for becoming a better human being.
